In 2011, James completed a ten hour spin, unusual attitude aerobatic spin recovery course, as well as and eleven hour advanced aerobatics course by living Pitts legend, and aircraft designer/builder “Steve Wolf”.
Many times student pilots feel they are being treated as if they are a steppingstone in the instructor’s endeavors to obtain a better paying job. James enjoys every minute with the students he instructs. He assists them in making sure they are prepared for any situation that may come up, especially in regards to emergency maneuvering and upset spin recovery techniques. In the 2012 competition season, James won one silver medal and two gold medals.
James treats all of his students just like family.
